Getting to Know Andy Biggs

What’s your role at PAFC Displays and what does a typical day look like for you?

Chief Pessimist / Superstition Consultant – I help wherever Tommo needs.

How did you first get involved with PAFC Displays or the club?

Tomo asked for a favour one time, about 10 years ago.

What’s your favourite part of working at Home Park on a matchday?

Making sure the next generation of fans has the best possible experience, to keep them coming back.

Is there a particular display or moment you’ve worked on that you’re especially proud of?

The Paul Mariner tribute display with Ipswich.

What’s one thing people might not realise goes into creating the displays?

The amount of time spent on non-matchdays… and for Tomo, it’s tenfold. All done for free — no free tickets, no payments — just because it’s good for the club.

What’s been your most memorable matchday while working with the team?

The MK Dons clean-up.

How long have you been a fan?

Too long.

What’s one thing you’ve learned since joining PAFC Displays?

The expectations placed on the group by fans and the club often exceed our resources, but somehow, it always gets sorted.

If someone wanted to get involved with the group, what would you tell them?

Welcome.
