What’s your role at PAFC Displays and what does a typical day look like for you?
My role is to assist in the shop before matches, and when we enter the stadium, we set up all the flags where we need them — whether it’s 30 flags or up to 500. Every day is a busy day, even if it’s just planning ahead of the games.

How did you first get involved with PAFC Displays or the club?
I first got involved a few seasons ago by waving the flags and helping to put them away for PAFC Displays. From there, I became part of the team by getting a pass and becoming more involved
What’s your favourite part of working at Home Park on a matchday?
My favourite part of working at Home Park on matchdays is the atmosphere and the experience of seeing everything we’ve planned and set out take place.

Is there a particular display or moment you’ve worked on that you’re especially proud of?
The display I was most impressed with and really proud of was the FA Cup game against Liverpool at Home Park. We absolutely covered the stadium in flags for the display, which took some restless evenings to prepare — but it was 100% worth it when the day came and everyone held up their flags to create an amazing display.
What’s one thing people might not realise goes into creating the displays?
One thing people might not realise is just how much hard work our team puts in to put on these displays. For example, the FA Cup game took many evenings to prepare for, and we also spend a lot of time after the matches collecting and putting away the flags once everyone has gone home.

What’s been your most memorable matchday while working with the team?
The Liverpool game.
How long have you been a fan?
I’ve been a Plymouth Argyle fan since I was young and had an awesome experience being a mascot when I was little.

What’s one thing you’ve learned since joining PAFC Displays?
One thing I’ve learned since joining PAFC Displays is that with good teamwork and perseverance, you can get a lot done.
If someone wanted to get involved with the group, what would you tell them?
I’d tell them it takes a lot of effort to do this — but it’s also a lot of fun, so I’d definitely recommend checking us out.
