Guard of Honour – A Free Matchday Experience for Young Argyle Fans (Ages 7–16)

By July 31, 2026News

There’s a moment at Home Park that never fails to send a shiver down the spine: the players emerging from the tunnel, the roar of the Green Army, and the sea of colour lining their path. This season, young supporters aged 7–16 can once again be right at the heart of that moment as part of the Guard of Honour – completely free of charge.

🌟 A Pitch‑Side Role in the Matchday Build‑Up

PAFC Displays works closely with Plymouth Argyle to offer young fans the chance to stand pitch‑side and welcome the players onto the field. It’s an unforgettable experience that puts them just feet away from their heroes, surrounded by the noise and excitement of a packed Home Park.

🟢 The Flags Behind the Atmosphere

Every flag used in the Guard of Honour is provided, maintained, repaired, and stored by PAFC Displays. Our volunteer team ensures they’re match‑ready for every fixture – cleaned, checked, and prepared so the kids can proudly help create the colour and energy that makes Argyle matchdays so special.

This partnership with the club allows us to give young supporters a hands‑on role in the matchday spectacle while keeping the experience completely free for families.

💚 Why Kids Love Taking Part

Being part of the Guard of Honour means:

  • Standing pitch‑side as the players walk out
  • Seeing Argyle stars up close
  • Feeling part of the matchday buzz
  • Helping create the visual display inside Home Park
  • Making memories that last a lifetime

⚠️ Limited Spaces – First Come, First Served

This activity is extremely popular, and spaces are limited for each home game. Places are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
